A word from the Author: |

It is pretty shattering to be told you have cancer, for the
person concerned and for the family.
If it is of a kind for which so far there is very little that
can be done, it can assume an even greater terror.

This is why, when offered a place on a drugs research trial,
I gladly accepted.
I knew it may not work, this was fully explained to me, but I
had to try. It may not be working for me, but for someone
else, who knows?
What is working for me is the power of prayer and the
strength of my faith in God!

Cancer, nasty and awful though it is, cannot stand against
that; it can severely afflict the body and the struggle
against it may be hard, but holding on to God's love and
trusting Him will ensure that the spirit remains strong, and
cancer cannot quench the spirit.
